Dr S.Ravi Sekhar, has recently completed his PhD from Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur, Andhra Pradesh in the field of Friction Surfacing .His current work focuses on Characterization of Friction Surfaced Deposits. Deposition of Stainless steel and Tool steel M2 as mechtrodes over low carbon steel as substrate separately and characterize the deposits for suitability of industrial applications. He holds a Master Degree in Design for Manufacturing from JNTU Hyderabad. He graduated in the year 1991 from, OU Hyderabad; He has 6 International and National conference publications. He is having 28 years of teaching and industrial experience & he has guided several students in their UG.
