Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):

PEO 1: Graduates of the programme will be capable of effectively analysing and solving the problems associated in the field of thermal engineering and developing core competancy to be successful in industry or research.

PEO 2: Graduates of the programme will create an opportunity to pursue higher studies and research in inter-disciplinary areas to undertake real life research problems which enable them to create innovative solutions of these problems.

PEO 3: Graduates of the programme will practice the skills needed to be a successful professional.

Programme Outcomes (POs):

PO 1: Able to develop independent thinking and critical analysis of thermal engineering problems understanding the global issues and conduct independent research in the emerging areas for conducting research.

PO 2: Able to demonstrate the skills of preparing the technical report and presenting their work unequivocally before scientific community.

PO 3: Able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area and possess knowledge of modern technological concepts, conduct in-depth studies and experiments and apply specialized expertise practically.

PO 4: Able to work collaboratively on multi‚Äźdisciplinary projects to enhance the efficiency of the Thermal systems and devices.

PO 5: Able to develop professional and ethical attitude and become socially responsible citizens to implement the research outcome for and sustainable development of the environment.
