Profile

Dr. N. Sateesh graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Nagarguna University AP, 1992. He has done his master degree from JNTUH, Hyderabad 2002 in CAD/CAM specialization. He has awarded doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, 2010. He has 6 years of industrial experience and 19 years of experience in teaching and research. His area of research in CAD/CAM, composite materials, modelling and simulation. He has published more than 35 papers in international journals and conferences. He is guided 14 M.Tech students. Guiding 2 M.Tech and 2 Ph.D students. He is the Professor & HOD of the Mechanical Department, GRIET.

Dr N. Sateesh was holding the position of NBA coordinator for M.Tech (Design for Manufacturing) from 2015 to 2018. M.Tech (DFM) is accredited for two years 2016-2018. He has also coordinator for M.Tech (DFM). He framed the DFM curriculum of regulation GR18. He is head of design stream in the department since 2015. He had organized four workshops/FDP programs as convener since 2015. He is a fellow Institute of Engineers (life member), Life member of the Institute of Indian Foundry Men and member of ASME. Currently he is the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering department in GRIET.
