Dr. U. S. Jyothi, Has a professional experience of 22 years including 12 years of experience in Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (PSU) at different designations such as Asst. Mechanical Engineer, Stores & Purchase officer and Deputy Chief mechanical Engineer. As a Stores & Purchase officer, maintained effective system of inventory by following stringent procedures for procurement for the benefit of the organization. As a Dy. CME contributed for holding the responsibility of achieving all targeted technical parameters of the fleet in Region with proper coordination with unit managers and manufacturers.

In GRIET, as a subject expert she taught subjects -Thermodynamics, Applied thermodynamics, Automobile engineering, Heat transfer, Advanced Internal combustion engines, Thermal engineering and Heat transfer laboratories. She Pursued Ph.D. from JNTH University on Investigations in to suitability of Hydrogen in diesel Engine in dual mode. Investigations with bio diesel by changing the piston bowl geometry and with additives are executed at present by UGC minor project grant.
