Profile

Dr. K.Venkateswarlu, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad, A.P, India, in 1996. He obtained his M.Tech in Thermal Engineering specialization from JNTUH, Hyderabad, India, in 2006. He has been awarded doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU Kakinada, India, in 2016. He has 4 years of industrial experience and 17 years of experience in teaching and research. His area of research includes simulation of spray and combustion and fuel efficiency improvement of diesel engines.

He has published more than 15 papers in international journals and conferences. Presently he is working as Professor in Mechanical Engineering department in Gokaraju Rangaraju institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, India. He has guided 8 M.Tech theses.

Dr. V enkateswarlu has published more than 15 papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has guided 8 M.Tech theses. He has completed writing a text book titled “Fundamentals of Thermodynamics”, (Accepted for publication by New Age International Publishers).

He is a Fellow, Institution of Engineers India(FIE) and Life Member, Combustion Institute Indian Section.

Dr. Venkateswarlu is the Associate Editor, SAE International Journal of Engines and the technical reviewer for journals such as SAE International Journal of Engines, Journal of the Brazilian society of Mechanical sciences and engineering and African journal of Agricultural research.

Dr. Venkateswarlu is the Professor in-charge, Thermal Engineering stream. He is also the co-coordinator for NBA PG Program(Thermal Engineering). Thermal Engineering program is accredited by NBA for two years from 2018-2020. He is also the member, Project Review Committee(PRC) for reviewing the projects of PG Program(Thermal Engineering).
